Huge crowd turns out for Toowoomba junior league finals

FINALS FEVER: Toowoomba Sports Ground was packed to the rafters on Saturday with a huge crowd turning out for the TJRL finals. Find out if we snapped you on grand final day here.

Toowoomba Sports Ground was a see of excitement and colour on Saturday with the Darling Downs best junior rugby league stars in action.

Fans and players from as far as Dalby and the South Burnett made the trip to the Garden City for a full day of league grand finals.

With teams in six of the 10 finals Southern Suburbs Tigers and Valleys Roosters had plenty of play for.

The Tigers stepped up to the mark clawing out an impressive five premiership wins while the Roosters claimed four.

Dalby Devils were the only other club to win a premiership on the day with their under-13 girls finishing the year unbeaten after defeating Souths 18-8 in their final.
