Temperatures are set to soar in the Darling Downs, with the Bureau of Meteorology warning of heatwave conditions – here’s when you can expect the heat.

A high of 34 degrees is predicted for Toowoomba on Sunday and Monday, which is well above the November’s mean maximum temperature of 26 degrees.
Further out west, temperatures will sit close to the 40 degree mark, with Charleville and Roma expected to get to 41 degrees on Monday.
“Over the next few days, we are looking at hot conditions developing through much of the interior, probably from around (today) until Tuesday,” BOM senior meteorologist Felim Hanniffy said.
“Daytime maximums could be anywhere from five to 10 degrees above average.
“In conjunction with this, the overnight minimums will be warm in these areas and offer little respite.”
Mr Hanniffy said it was likely temperatures would peak on Monday.
“We’ll have a southerly change move through some time later on Wednesday or Thursday, which will likely restore near-average temperatures to most of the state.”
Cloud cover will increase in Toowoomba from Tuesday, bringing in a cooler change and a 30 per cent chance of rain that day.
