Finalists announced for new Toowoomba Chamber of Commerce top business people’s choice award

The top 10 finalists for the Business Excellence Awards People’s Choice Award have been announced.

Hamish Brown from Hammy's Cupcakes is one of the finalists.

The Toowoomba Chamber of Commerce has announced the finalists of its new people’s choice award in the Business Excellence Awards.

The award is sponsored by The Chronicle.

 After a tough year for business, the Business Excellence Awards invited the community to get involved in the awards by voting for their favourite business.

All applicants were eligible for the award and voting was undertaken via the digital platform created by The Chronicle.

Toowoomba Chamber CEO Todd Rohl said the organisation was delighted to introduce the new category that provided the opportunity for the Toowoomba community to have their say on who they think is the best local business.

“This award is integrated into the ceremony with a 10 to 1 countdown occurring during the

business community’s night of nights which will add anticipation and suspense,” Mr Rohl said.

The People’s Choice award will be announced at the Business Excellence 2020

Awards Ceremony to be held at the Empire Theatre on December 12.

Voting closed on November 27.
