Fears for woman trapped after Cunningham Highway crash

Emergency services are responded to reports of a serious crash on the Cunningham Highway that has left one person trapped in the wreck of a vehicle.

A rescue helicopter has been dispatched to a serious crash on the Cunningham Highway at Clintonvale, about 20km northeast of Warwick.

The Queensland Police Service is reporting two vehicles collided near the Freestone Road intersection shortly after 10.30am on Sunday.

There are three patients involved.

Two were able to remove themselves from their car, while a second remained trapped.

Queensland Fire and Emergency Service crews are preparing to cut the woman free using hydraulic cutting equipment.

The crash has blocked the highway, and motorists are advised to avoid the area.
