Emergency services respond to dust explosion at Felton

Firefighters are investigating the cause of a dust explosion that ignited in a grain silo west of Toowoomba.

Fire fighters are working to extinguish smouldering grain that ignited after a dust explosion in a silo at a Felton property.

Emergency services were called to the incident on Pittsworth-Felton Road shortly before 11am Tuesday.

There are no reports of injuries, but paramedics are on scene to support the firefighters.

Queensland Fire Department crews are removing the grain from the storage area to stop it from burning.
