Australian Border Force carries out operation at Toowoomba property

Australian Border Force agents have swooped in on a Toowoomba business as part of an “operation”. Here’s what we know so far.

The Australian Border Force has confirmed it carried out an operation in Toowoomba this week.

The federal agency, which handles investigations, compliance, detention operations and customs issues, revealed it conducted an “operational activity” on Tuesday.

The spokeswoman could not reveal the nature of the investigation or where the operation had taken place, with initial reports to News Corp suggesting it was at a local business.

“As the operation is currently ongoing it would be inappropriate to provide further comment,” she said.
