This weekend has been busy for emergency services after attending numerous emergency incidents involving horse riding accidents, car crashes, a sudden death and the car ploughing into a house.

Police, paramedics, fire crews and LifeFlight rescue paramedics were kept busy over the weekend.

On Sunday morning about 4am, police were called out after an MG station wagon ploughed into a house along Drayton Rd near Eiser St in Harristown.

The 17-year-old driver managed to get out of the car, police said.

He was taken to Toowoomba Hospital in a stable condition, a QAS spokesperson said.

The neighbour who called it in said the car had landed on its side after grazing a tree on the sidewalk verge.

The owner, who was away, will unfortunately return home to find the front patio smashed in, a window broken, fences down and pot plants scattered on the front lawn.

Police say the vehicle was not stolen, but are making further inquiries.
