Toowoomba weather: Forecast revealed after Bureau of Meteorology confirms region records hottest day
Parts of southeast Queensland have recorded one of its wettest seasons in October, but there’s a change in sight for Toowoomba after the region faced its hottest day this spring. Here’s what we can expect for the rest of the week.

It’s been a wet and stormy spring for Toowoomba this year, but a weather expert has revealed we can expect sunny days ahead.
Spokesman for the Bureau of Meteorology Danny Teece said Thursday was the region’s hottest day recorded this season so far, after temperatures hit a warm 29C before midday.
Prior to Thursday, the highest temperature this Spring was an average 26.1C.
Despite partly cloudy conditions and an increased chance of showers expected early next week, Mr Teece said the weekend outlook for Toowoomba was nice and sunny.
“We’re anticipating it will be quite warm for the rest of spring, but there’s still potential for thunderstorms and rain,” he said.
“Starting next week, from possibly Monday, we’re looking at a new system with anywhere between 5 and 15mm of rain expected.”
Describing Saturday as a “peach of a day” Mr Teece said Toowoomba residents could expect a sunny day with a maximum temperature of 24 degrees and similar conditions on Sunday.

• Major Flood Warning for the Balonne River, Moderate flood warning for the Bokhara River and Minor Flood Warning for the Condamine River
• Moderate Flood Warning for the Macintyre River and Moderate Flood Warning for the Weir River
• Moderate Flood Warning for the Paroo River (QLD)
• Minor Flood Warning for the Barcoo River
• Minor Flood Warning for the Bulloo River
• Minor Flood Warning for the Moonie River
• Final Flood Warning for the Lower Brisbane River catchment
• Final Flood Warning for the Upper Dawson River
• Final Flood Warning for the Wallam and Mungallala Creeks
• Initial Minor Flood Warning for the Warrego River (QLD)
