15-month-old in ‘critical but stable’ condition after vehicle incident at Black River
A toddler who was rushed to hospital with severe head injuries after a vehicle incident in Townsville is now in a ‘critical but ‘stable’ condition.
A 15-month-old has been taken to Townsville University Hospital with significant facial and head injuries after an incident involving a vehicle.
Queensland Ambulance Service advised the incident occurred at a private address in the northern Townsville suburb of Black River at 6:49am on Friday morning.
The toddler was taken to hospital in a potentially life-threatening condition, with the Townsville University Hospital confirming around 10am on Friday that the toddler is now in a ‘critical but stable’ condition.
Queensland Police have started an investigation into the incident.
