They have been barred from attending matches in the pavilion indefinitely.

An MCC spokesman last night confirmed the individuals were members and were not welcome while legal proceedings continued.

“Membership of the individual members has been suspended until the matters before the court have been ­determined,” the spokesman said.

Two fans, aged 45 and 61, were attacked following the Richmond-Hawthorn final. It is alleged the 61-year-old was stomped as he lay helpless on the ground.

A 27-year-old and 24-year-old, both from Fitzroy North, and an East Melbourne man, 27, have been charged with intentionally causing injury, recklessly causing injury and other ­assault-related offences.
