Rugby League Gold Coast’s Super Sunday will see a double-header of table-topping clashes that should finally clear up congestion at the front of the pack.
Burleigh Bears will tackle the Tugun Seahawks at Pizzey Park in the game of the round, with the undefeated hosts flying high with nine competition points to lead the race.
The Seahawks have accrued seven points from their opening three rounds and are placed to leapfrog the Bears if they can defeat them at 12.50pm.
Complicating matters are Runaway Bay and Southport, who after early bye rounds sit second and fourth on the ladder.

If Tugun can upset an injury-affected Burleigh, and Runaway Bay beat Southport at Galleon Way, the Seagulls will hit top spot with 11 points.
If Tugun win and Runaway Bay lose, Southport will hit 10 points and points differential – for Tugun 14 and Southport 0 - will dictate who sits on top of the ladder going into round five.
Stopping Burleigh’s wing sensation Alofiana Khan-Pereira is a key priority for the Seahawks because the 18-year-old Titans signing has scored six tries in three games after debuting in round one.
Burleigh’s Matt Foster said he had never seen anyone as quick in Rugby League Gold Coast.
“We’ve got GPS gear and we put that on him and he clocked 36.5 kilometres per hour,” Foster said.
“He puts himself in the right place at the right time and he has all the attributes to finish.
“When he gets to the edge there’s not too many that can catch him.”
Currumbin Eagles junior Xavier Coates is currently the NRL’s fastest man after hitting 36.9 km/h for the Broncos in round six.
Tugun coach Clint Barends said his side had their own strike power to challenge the frontrunners.
“They’re undefeated and they’re usually the team to beat,” he said.
“To win like we did last week (a final play thriller against Currumbin) should give us confidence and excitement.
“We can pull rabbits out of hat with some strike in Timmy Cassidy and Tuli Talanoa.
“We have some gamebreakers there so we’ve just got to be somewhere near it at the end.”
