A teenager is in hospital after his e-scooter collided with a car on a suburban Gold Coast street on Christmas Eve.
The male in his early teens was treated for neck pain, abrasions and leg injuries after the incident on Plateau Crescent, Carrara just after 10am on December 24, a Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said.
He was taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.
A Queensland Police Service spokesman said police were not tasked to the incident.
However, the crash comes just days after the QPS emphatically warned parents against giving children e-scooters or other personal mobility devices for Christmas.
