Fay Eve Vincent could become face of Playboy’s new lingerie campaign

A Tasmanian who is “mature aged” for a model is in line to become the new face of Playboy, and she’s encouraged others to “never give up on your dreams”.

A Tasmanian woman is in line to become the new face of Playboy, and has encouraged others to “never give up on your dreams”.

Fay Eve Vincent has made the final stages of the international brand’s competition to be the face of their new lingerie campaign.

The former Devonport High School student said she had been modelling “on and off forever”.

“It’s been a fulltime job for me here and there,” Miss Vincent said.

“Dad was a photographer so it’s always been part of our lifestyle.

“We would just do it and shoot things from time to time. He influenced me a lot.

“I enjoy the photography side of things as well. It’s not just the modelling.”

Miss Vincent, who was born in Hobart but now resides in Byron Bay, said the public would be surprised by what goes into achieving the perfect photo.

“It’s incredibly hard work. Lots of early mornings, a lot of pre-preparation with diet and exercise,” she said.

“There’s a lot of study as well trying to get the pose as correct as possible.

“The best part is the end result of the images. Pulling together all the creativity and seeing the end result and being satisfied with it is amazing.”

Miss Vincent, who described herself as “mature aged” for a model, said her run towards being the face of Playboy should inspire others.

“What have I got to lose? It would be a dream and an adventure to win.

“People should have a go at any age, at any stage. Things can happen. Never give up on your dreams.”
