A little bit of research and relocation in the state can help you snag a block of land for as low as $28,000.

Here’s where the Mercury has found some of the bargain blocks around Tasmania.

Burnie

This block is located in a prime position with views of the Burnie waterfront and West Park Oval, plus being just five minutes from the Burnie CBD and shops.

A suburb median house price of $470,000 could mean the block is worth the extra spend.

Gormanston
