The pair, Benowa man Joseph Antonio Justin Bunch, 23, and Mermaid Waters man Harlin Bryce Reynolds, 26, are facing a combined 12 charges after the February 19 raid at a unit at The Lanes Residences.

Mr Bunch has been charged with six offences: two counts of possessing dangerous drugs, and one count each of trafficking in dangerous drugs, possessing a schedule 1 dangerous drug in excess of 2g, possessing anything used in the commission of crime, and contravening an order to unlock a device.

Police further allege the defendant was discovered in possession of more than 2g of party drug MDMA, smaller quantities of cocaine and the steroids testosterone and boldenone, a pair of mobile phones, and drug paraphernalia like clipseal bags and digital scales.

Mr Bunch allegedly refused to unlock his devices despite a police warrant.

The defendant was granted police bail on conditions including that he not communicate with his co-accused, Mr Reynolds, and issued a notice to appear in Southport Magistrates Court on April 1.

In court, defence lawyer Nick Andrews requested a four-week adjournment to allow the parties to case conference.
