With the festive season wrapping up and summer in full swing, here’s how SA’s celebs spent their break – be it skiing in Japan’s snowy hills or singing songs around the campfire at a rehab facility!
Valtteri Bottas and Tiffany Cromwell
Finnish-born racer Valtteri Bottas and cyclist girlfriend Tiffany Cromwell’s summer break looked straight out of a holiday card.
The Formula One driver and the Olympic cyclist shared several loved-up snaps on their Instagram while on their adventures down under.
The couple traded in their wheels for some surfboards at Baird Bay, spent some quality downtime at Clare Valley and snuck in some cheeky wine-tasting at Adelaide Hills.
Olivia Molly Rogers
Olivia Molly Rogers spent her summer break jet setting from coast to coast.
The former Miss Universe Australia spent Christmas in Perth with loved ones before flying to her home town of Adelaide to spend the beginning of the New Year with family. Now the influencer with 325,000 followers on Instagram is back in Melbourne, where she’s lived since 2017, ready to take on 2025.
Chayce Jones
Crows Midfielder Chayce Jones had a truly eventful last year.
The 25-year old became a first-time father this year with partner Nicola Grant, as the family of three spent their first Christmas together.
The couple was seen suiting up for a best friend’s wedding in Kangarilla last week before popping back over to Adelaide well ahead of the AFL season.
Emma Georgiadis
Emma Georgiadis has been on a long streak of luck lately: landing a new presenter role at SAFM, spending her summer on the sandy beaches of Greece and now, newly engaged!
The Adelaide radio personality shared the happy news on her Instagram last Friday, officially entering the new year as a fiancee.
Prior to that, Georgiadis was seen gracing the fields of Adelaide Polo Classic, officiating a wedding and living it up on the beaches of Greece.
Guy Sebastian
Unlike the other big names on this list, Guy Sebastian packed on the woollens for a holiday in Japan.
The Adelaide-raised singer and his family shared their exploits on Instagram, taking to the streets of Tokyo, skiing it up on the mountains of Hakuba and hitching a ride on the bullet train.
But that’s not before the Voice coach injured himself, tearing his calf while on the ski trip.
Luckily the family of four were able to resume their holiday activities back in Tokyo before saying farewell.
Claudia Bonifazio
Influencer and former winner of Love Island Australia spent her summer break back in her home town of Adelaide visiting her family with her boyfriend, Austen Bugeja, who she met on the dating reality show.
The pair, who both live in Sydney since their influencing career took off following the show, flew down with the dog they share together.
Claudia, who has almost 230k followers on Instagram and around 250k on TikTok, has since returned to Sydney.
Bel and Rory Sloane, Tex and Ellie Walker and Jack and Aymee Redden
Former Crows player Rory Sloane and his wife Bel Sloane spent the summer chasing beaches along the Victorian coast with their gorgeous family and friends before heading back to Adelaide.
The pair were joined by Crows player and former captain Tex Walker and his wife Ellie and their children as well as former AFL player Jack Redden and his wife Aymee and their children.
Poh Ling Yeow
MasterChef star Poh Ling Yeow spent her summer break making a splash with her Scottish Terrier, Tim. The 51-year-old television personality shared snaps of her pooch taking a swim in the pool and also mending an Ikea rat she ‘rescued’ on a walk with her little furball. Yeow, who has over 440,000 followers on Instagram, also shared some treats she’s been cooking up, including a summer-themed tray of gingerbread cookies. It seems like 2025 has more in store for the acclaimed chef, landing a new role as an ambassador of Tourism NT – potentially moving away from the comfort of home!
Andrew Costello
Andrew “Cosi” Costello truly indulged in the spirit of giving this Christmas – volunteering his time all the way up in Cambodia. The media personality that graces the airwaves of Channel 7 spent his break delivering hundreds of rice bags to villages and building schools in the sweltering heat of Siem Reap, as seen on his Facebook page. The 44-year-old has also recently signed for three more years as host of the hit show ‘South Aussie with Cosi’, with more in store for his SA audience in 2025.
Rosanna Mangiarelli
Rosanna Mangiarelli went all-in on family time this festive season.
The Channel 7 anchor and mother of three spent her December singing carols and whipping up cookies with her daughters and nieces.
The family caught some waves at Wallaroo Beach and walked some ponies before putting on their Christmas best for a snazzy family shoot.
Kasey Chambers
Musician Kasey Chambers spread the Christmas cheer around the campfire, singing songs and sharing stories with folks from The Glen Rehab Centre in New South Wales.
The Mount Gambier-born country star, who has almost 83,000 followers on Instagram, soon headed back on the road not long after to kick off the National Backbone Tour for 2025.
Pops and Jay
Poppy Radbone and J-Milla’s 2024 were full of surprises: welcoming their son Zebedee, tying the knot and spending their first Christmas as a family of four.
The high school sweethearts, who accumulate over 300,000 followers on TikTok, got hitched on Christmas Eve.
The bride‘s grandmother tragically passed on the day of her wedding, but not before witnessing Poppy marry her husband in her dream pink wedding dress.
Rebecca Morse
Former SAFM breakfast host Rebecca “Bec” Morse spent the summer holidays soaking up the sun in Fiji with her nearest and dearest.
Sharing a series of holiday snaps, the 47-year-old took to Instagram to wish her followers a “Merry Morsemas from a moist moist Fiji.”
With some of her most cherished childhood memories being in Fiji, it was a chance to create “another generation of memories.”
“Some of my favourite childhood memories were made on holiday in #Fiji so we’ve been talking about a trip back with Mum & Dad and my sister’s family for years and we finally did it!” she captioned one post.
