Radio ratings: Huge win for Ali Clarke’s station Mix 102.3

The latest radio ratings results are in and there’s been a big win for Mix 102.3. Check out all the winners and losers.

Triple M Adelaide's Rush Hour axed

Mix 102.3 has recorded a big win in the latest radio ratings results. It is now officially Adelaide’s top station.

And while 13 may be unlucky for some that is not the case for Triple M’s breakfast hosts Mark Ricciuto, Chris Dittmar and Laura O’Callaghan.

That’s because their Roo, Ditts & Loz show is in top spot in the breakfast timeslot for the 13th for the consecutive radio ratings survey.

The trio finished on 13.0 share points (we did say 13 was Triple M’s lucky number!), up 0.7.

The latest survey results cover the period from July 7 to September 14.

During the ratings period it was revealed that Aunty spent $135,000 – of taxpayer money – to send its Adelaide brekky duo Sonya Feldhoff and Julian Schiller and two producers to the Olympic Games in Paris.

This was despite Feldhoff and Schiller not calling any live sport there.

But that call hasn’t affected their ranking. ABC Adelaide is still in runner up in the breakfast timeslot on 11.4, dipping 0.2.

FIVEaa’s David Penberthy and Will Goodings have also retained their spot, finishing third with 11.2, down 0.1.

Similarly, Nova 919’s Jodie Oddy and Andrew Hayes are still fourth with 10.9, up 0.8.

During the ratings period, Mix 102.3’s brekky presenter Ali Clarke revealed on-air that she had been diagnosed with breast cancer. She had a mastectomy on July 26. While she was away Hayley Pearson filled in for her as Max Burford’as co-host.

But less than three weeks after her surgery Clarke returned to Max and Ali in the Morning show.

This survey, Max and Ali in the Morning are now in fifth spot with 9.6, down 0.3.

SAFM’s Rebecca Morse and Mark Soderstrom are sixth with 9.0, down 0.9.

Mix 102.3 is Adelaide’s No. 1 station overall with 13.5. The position has been held by Triple M for the past three surveys.

There are two radio ratings results left for the year. They are scheduled for November 14 and December 17.
