Police search for hooded man, armed with gun in Edwardstown

A threatening man has been spotted on a doorbell camera, wearing a balaclava and armed with gun. And he remains at large.

Police have raised alarm bells after a hooded man sporting a firearm was reported stalking the streets of Edwardstown.

On Thursday, just before 5am, a man was caught on CCTV approaching the front door of a house on Raglan Ave.

The man wore a hooded jumper and covered his face with a balaclava, and was in possession of a firearm.

The owners of the CCTV footage reported the incident to authorities.

Police say no one was injured and no shots were fired but the suspect remains at large.
