Pokemon vending machine smashed by mallet, robbed by brazen bandits in Salisbury Downs

New footage has been released of a duo stealing popular cartoon cards from a Salisbury Downs vending machine.

Two thieves that smashed a vending machine with a mallet to get at popular collectable Pokemon cards in Adelaide’s northern suburbs earlier this year are still on the loose.

Police have released new vision of the brazen robbery in a bid to catch the Pokemon bandits that used a mallet to break the glass and take the cards.

The two suspects used the mallet to break a glass sliding door at the Spains Road, Salisbury Downs shopping centre about 12.20am on January 1.

The pair then kicked out the remaining glass from the panel to gain access to the centre.

Once inside, the suspects ran toward a Pokemon card vending machine, one of them using the mallet to break the glass.

Packs of the cards could then be seen getting taken from the machine and placed into a duffel bag.

After catching ‘em all, the pair quickly exited the centre, ran through the car park and across Hollywood Blvd.
