North South Motorway traffic delays at Waterloo Corner

Traffic has slowed to a crawl with warnings of delays after a multi-vehicle crash at Waterloo Corner.

Commuters should expect delays into Adelaide after a multi-vehicle crash on the southbound lanes on the North South Motorway at Waterloo Corner.

Emergency services were called to the incident about 6.15am with reports three cars had collided.

Debris is across the road and traffic has slowed to a crawl through the area at the eastern on-ramp at the Waterloo interchange.

There are reports traffic has banked up about 3km from the crash scene.

Motorists should expect delays or find an alternative route if heading south towards Adelaide.

In an unrelated incident, traffic was congested in Northfield after three cars collided on Grand Junction Rd about 8.10am.

Emergency services were called to the incident.
