Nathan Anderson identified as motorcyclist killed in North-South Motorway accident at Dry Creek

Family and friends of a young motorcyclist killed in a horrific crash at Dry Creek on Thursday have shared tributes for the northern suburbs teenager.

Nathan Anderson has been identified as the motorcyclist involved in Thursday’s fatal accident at Dry Creek, with friends and family sharing heartfelt tributes for the northern suburbs teenager on social media.

Police were alerted to the accident on the Wingfield interchange at Dry Creek on the ramp to the North-South Motorway at about 4.30pm Thursday.

The 19-year-old from Munno Para – who was an L-plate rider – was going home after spending the day at trade school when his bike slammed into a guard rail. He died at the scene.

Nathan’s mother Andrea Anderson remembered him as a “special loving person” with his death leaving his family “so numb”.

A friend of Nathan, Zaydon recalled the horrifying incident, while remembering Nathan as someone who was “always smiling”

“Never really see (sic) him angry, nothing like that,” Aiden told 7News.

“There were cop cars everywhere, they wouldn’t let us anywhere near obviously.

“We all started cruising, coming here to realise it’s him.”

Following the crash, police were searching for a “red rider” who was seen with the teen just before the crash, who has since come forward and is assisting police with the investigation.

Mr Anderson’s was the 65th life lost on our state’s roads this year.
