What’s not to love about the proposal of Adelaide’s Rebecca Zacharia being a Married At First Sight bride.
Rebecca, who is Bec Zac to her friends, has popped up on a social media gossip page’s story.
In the accompanying photo the 35-year-old brunette beauty is wearing a bridal gown.
If the mystery MAFS bride isn’t Rebecca she has a doppelganger because the stunner in the wedding dress is her spitting image.
Rebecca’s LinkedIn lists her as a rental consultant, but perhaps she is taking some time out from her career to appear on MAFS.
An old scholar of the elite private girls’ college Wilderness School, Rebecca is one of Adelaide’s best-known socialites – despite living overseas for an extended period.
She’s also been one of The Advertiser’s ‘Singles ready to mingle’ twice – in 2011, when she was 21, and, again, at the start of 2024.
When we interviewed Rebecca early last year she admitted to being married to her job in real estate while living in London.
She also confessed to getting the seven-year-itch because she wanted to come home to Adelaide to be closer to her family and friends.
And Rebecca did just that.
“I have a cavoodle named Coco and my passion is cooking and throwing dinner parties for my friends,” she told us.
We’ve reached out to Rebecca, who hasn’t responded, no doubt, because she has signed a MAFS confidentiality contract.
We also contacted Nine, the home of the controversial reality TV show.
A spokesman for the network declined to comment.
Fun fact: Rebecca’s dad Lee Zacharia was also on Cleo magazine’s most eligible bachelors list in 1988.
