A man has been rushed to hospital with stab wounds after a violent altercation while he was sitting in his car at an Adelaide intersection.
A driver has stab wounds after a violent altercation while he was approached by a group of men at an Adelaide intersection.
Police and paramedics were called to the intersection of Hampstead Rd and Sarnia Ave, Clearview, about 1.15am on Tuesday.
Police say it was reported the man was sitting in his car and was approached by a group of men in another car who demanded his wallet.
During an altercation the 48-year-old victim was stabbed in the leg.
He was taken to hospital by ambulance and his injuries are not considered life threatening.
The victim’s car was seized for forensic examination.
Police believe while the investigation is in its early stages, this does not appear to be a random incident.
