Major roads clear after multiple crashes across Adelaide with wet roads and fog reported

Traffic delays have been reported across with multiple crashes as commuters dealt with wet roads and fog for the first day back after the long weekend.

There was traffic chaos on Adelaide roads on Tuesday morning as patrols attended multiple crashes.

As commuters returned to work after the long weekend, wet roads and fog were reported around the metropolitan area.

Three separate multi-vehicle car crashes have occurred across Adelaide, including one involving a car and bus.

The incident was on Main North Road in Smithfield, with northbound traffic restricted to one lane.

Police also responded to a three-car crash on Port Road at Thebarton, near Tool Kit Depot.

There were no reports of serious injuries but northbound traffic on Port Rd was impacted and road users were asked to avoid the area to avoid delays in your commute.

Police also responded to a two-car crash at the intersection of Main South Rd and Bains and O’Sullivan Beach road.

Traffic travelling through the intersection was impacted and road users are asked to avoid the area if possible.

Fortunately, there are no reports of serious injuries.
