Four teens, one as young as just 13, will face court charged with aggravated robbery and weapon offences after police were called to a convenience store in Adelaide’s CBD on the weekend.
Just before 8.30am on Sunday, July 20, patrols were called to a convenience store on Grenfell St after reports four teenagers entered the store armed with a weapon, assaulted the shop assistant and attempted to steal cash from the till.
According to police, the suspects stole confectionery items before fleeing from the scene on foot.
However, police have since arrested all four suspects and the four male teens will all appear in the Adelaide Youth Court in the coming months.
A 16-year-old boy from Paradise, 15-year-old boy from Virginia, a 15-year-old boy from Henley Beach and a 13-year-old boy from West Croydon have all been charged with a raft of serious offences including aggravated robbery, theft and carrying an offensive weapon.
