Car crashes into Stobie pole at Whites Valley, serious truck roll over in the state’s Mid-North

Police are at the scene of two serious crashes, including a car that smashed into a Stobie pole in Adelaide’s south and a truck rollover in the state’s Mid-North.

Major Crash investigators are at the scene of a serious crash in Whites Valley, a small winery town between Aldinga and Willunga.

Emergency services were called to Bayliss Rd after a car crashed into a Stobie pole just before 4am on Friday.

Bayliss Road is currently closed between Flour Mill Rd and Little Rd.

Motorists are urged to avoid the area.

Three police officers and SES crews remain at the scene as investigators determine how the crash occurred.

Debris from the vehicle could be seen scattered across the road.

Hours later, police received reports of a truck rollover in the state’s Mid-North.

At 6.20am emergency services were called to Porter Lagoon’s Barrier Highway, just 18 km south of Burra, to attend a truck rollover.

The Barrier Highway is closed between Black Springs and Hanson.
