Adelaide man rushed to hospital after Munno Para West fire-breathing attempt goes wrong

A man has been rushed to hospital with facial burns after attempting to blow petrol out of his mouth over a flame at Munno Para West.

Three ambulances, including a specialist intensive care paramedic, were called to Ponderosa Road around 8.20pm on Sunday after the man in his 20s sustained “significant” burns in the incident.

It’s understood the man filled his mouth with petrol, before trying to spit it out over a flame.

Paramedics rushed the man to the Royal Adelaide Hospital where he is undergoing treatment.

SA Ambulance confirmed he was conscious and breathing upon paramedics arriving at the scene.
