A prominent and popular Adelaide Hills retailer is being remembered for his generosity, friendly smile and propensity to always lend a helping hand after his death in a vehicle rollover.

An Adelaide Hills butcher is being remembered for his generosity, friendly smile and propensity to always lend a helping hand.
Tim Noske, 52, died on Tuesday after a Polaris all-terrain vehicle (UTV) rolled on a private farming property at Tungkillo in the state’s Mid Murray region.
The popular Hahndorf butcher – who ran Max Noske & Son – was highly regarded in the meat industry and this was reflected by the outpouring of grief after news of his death hit the community.
Balhannah Butchery took to social media to send their condolences to the Noske Family and said the world had “lost one of the good guys”.
Lowe’s Meat Co. Mt Barker echoed the sentiment, calling Mr Noske a “ lovely, family man”.
Pottsy’s Butchery said Mr Noske was always willing to help anyone while Mt Pleasant Butcher posted it was a “sad day” as the community “lost a true legend of the meat industry,”
Stirling Variety Meats, Murray Bridge Meats and Woodside Butcher were also among those paying tribute with the latter posting Mr Noske was an “outstanding example of the industry and always went above and beyond to help people out”.
It wasn’t just the meat industry paying tribute to a man who was a figure across all aspects of the community.
The Handorf Football Club also praised Mr Noske, who was a past player, long-time supporter and sponsor of the club.
“He was a friend to many and we offer our deepest condolences to the Noske family at this time and share in Tim’s loss as a community,” the club posted.
“The Noske family have been consistent and loyal contributors to the local community – providing meat and especially delicious sausages for Hahndorf’s fund‐raising events, as well as donating time and effort towards many community functions.
“Tim’s loss is shared by all of Hahndorf. We thank him and the family for their contributions. May he rest in peace.”
The Hahndorf Country Fire Service also paid tribute to Mr Noske and his family, who have been “incredible supporters of Hahndorf CFS for many years”, while the Hahndorf Fruit & Veg Market also sent its condolences to the Noske family.
“It comes with great sadness that we say goodbye to one of Hahndorf’s treasures,” the business posted.
“You were such a humble and generous member of our community and will be sadly missed.”
