Described by her support worker as being cheeky, cuddly and kind, here’s why Gabe Hoopert is brightening up her workplace every day.

Gabe Hoopert is hard working, cheeky and loves a good cuddle.
And after months of working at The Paddock Butchery, she is excelling in her role.
Every Tuesday, alongside her support worker Jemma Melia, the 24-year-old helps to pack bones and meat, seal bags and add price tags to products.
And after Ms Melia has been assisting Gabe for nearly three years, the pair have developed a special bond.
“It’s so great that Gabe has an opportunity to apply her skills,” Ms Melia said.
“Tuesdays are a real highlight for staff because Gabe brings so much joy wherever she goes and she’s a bit of a jokester.”
But the feeling is mutual with Gabe’s favourite part of the job being the interactions with colleagues and her boss Ted Ellison.
