A search is underway for 21-year-old Regen who is believed to have left his home in Ngukurr on Sunday morning and has not been seen since.

A search is underway for 21-year-old Regen was last seen in Ngukurr on Sunday.

Police hold concerns for the welfare of 21-year-old Regen who left his home in the Roper Gulf Region on Sunday morning and has not been seen since.

It is believed Regen left his Ngukurr home at 6am, and may have been heading to the Nulawan Outstation, 23km to the east of the Ngukurr community.

The Search and Rescue Section (SRS) and local police are currently conducting a land search and rescue operation around the community.

The SRS are currently co-ordinating aerial assets and ground teams in response to the situation.
