A hammer was seized and three men hospitalised after a bloodstained brawl at a party in Sydney’s northwest.

Police were called to the small, brick home on Hunter St, Riverstone after reports of an altercation around 8pm on Sunday.

Officers spoke to people at the house and their neighbours about what had happened but no arrests have been made. The Daily Telegraph understands members of the brawl are not assisting with police inquiries.

Investigations revealed that three men, aged 31, 27 and 28, were involved in a brawl.

A crime scene warrant was executed at the property and officers seized a hammer.

One woman, with blood smeared across her chest, stood out the front of the property crying. She hugged another woman who was splattered with blood.

A heavily built man was seen speaking to police inside the home before being escorted to an ambulance.

As he left the home the bloodstained woman, wearing a white top, reached out to speak to him before grabbing and kissing him.

The man also had blood over his hands and jumper, as well as a Band-Aid over his nose.

An NSW Police spokeswoman said a crime scene was established at the suburban home.

“About 8pm yesterday emergency services were called to a property on Hunter St, following reports of an altercation,” she said.

“Police were told three people sustained injuries after a physical altercation broke out of up to 10 people. They were treated for head injuries before being taken to hospital in a stable condition.

“Officers from Quakers Hill Police Area Command established a crime scene and commenced inquiries.”
