Gladstone region artists and cultural groups can now apply for the latest round of RADF funding.
The Regional Arts Development Fund Round Two window for 2020-2021 is now open for individuals, artists and cultural groups to express their interest.
Gladstone region Mayor Matt Burnett said RADF funding promoted the value of arts and culture as key drivers for the region.
“It also helps to grow strong regions and provides training, education and employment opportunities for Queensland artists and local communities,” Cr Burnett said.
Cr Burnett said short-term projects may also be eligible for funding if it came under the following categories.
Developing Regional Skills, Building Community Cultural Capacity, Regional Partnerships, Cultural Tourism, Concept Development and Contemporary Collections/Stories.
Free grant writing workshops would also take place during round two between July 29-31, with individual
sessions by appointment.
