CMC Rocks organisers have announced this year's festival will be postponed until later this year.
The announcement comes after Australia's Chief Health Officer Brendan Murphy said mass gatherings attended by more than 500 people should not go ahead.
Prime Minister Scott Morrison said the ban on non-essential gatherings would start from Monday.
Many other local events, including Brisbane's popular Paniyiri Greek Festival, have been cancelled.
Scheduled CMC Rocks performers Miranda Lambert and Kip Moore had earlier today posted on social media to confirm they were still coming to Australia.
But in a statement this afternoon, CMC Rocks organisers said it was with "deep regret that the CMC Rocks QLD team announces the postponement of the 2020 event, due to take place in Willowbank, QLD next week."
Ticket holders have been told to hold on to their tickets, with new dates to be announced soon.
Anyone unable to attend the event on the rescheduled date will be given a refund.
CMC Rocks was scheduled to begin next Wednesday at Willowbank.
