Motorcyclist seriously injured after collision on suburban street

A motorcyclist is in a serious condition after colliding with a vehicle in a suburban Warwick street. Here’s what we know.

Paramedics are treating a motorcyclist for serious injuries after the rider collided with another vehicle on a street in Warwick.

A rescue helicopter has been called in after a motorcycle and another vehicle collided on a suburban Southern Downs street.

It’s understood the incident occurred just before 2.30pm at the intersection of Hawker Rd and Weewondilla Rd.

Queensland Ambulance paramedics arrived shortly after and assessed a man believed to be in his 60s for significant leg injuries.

No other patients have been reported.

Queensland Police are also on scene and assisting with traffic control in the area.
