Emergency services rushed to the scene of a two-vehicle crash in the Lockyer Valley region where one person was reported trapped.
Three Queensland Fire and Rescue crews were called to the west intersection of Gatton Laidley Rd and Forest Hill Fernvale Rd around 5.46am.
A Queensland Fire Department spokesman said crews found one person whose legs were trapped in the vehicle and quickly went into action using hydraulic cutting gear, removing them from the vehicle around 6.04am.
Queensland Ambulance paramedics assessed two patients, a man in his 40s with chest and abdominal injuries and a female in her 20s with leg injuries.
A QAS spokeswoman said both patients were taken to Ipswich Hospital for further treatment.
Queensland Police were also on scene.
