Bruce Highway northbound lane closed by truck crash near Proserpine

A truck rollover has caused traffic issues on a major highway, but it is not yet known if anyone has been injured.

A Queensland Police spokeswoman said the truck was on its side on the Bruce Highway, with the northbound lane obstructed about five kilometres north of Proserpine.

She said police on scene would likely soon hand over traffic control duties to council.

A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said they had been informed the small truck had been carrying pallets, but said they were still awaiting details as to the single patient.
