Sky News Australia has launched a new podcast probing the upcoming US Election and breaking down how the great race for The White House will affect everyday Australians.

Race to 2020 will be hosted by Daily Telegraph Opinion Editor James Morrow and Sky News Digital Editor Jack Houghton who will examine the quirky battles within the Democratic Primaries and scrutinise news coverage of the election both in Australia and abroad.

The hosts will bring you a different perspective on the headlines framing the biggest debates available on your favourite podcast app or YouTube.

Sky News Digital Editor Jack Houghton said the launch of Race to 2020 and Viewpoint showed people wanted to have access to “robust” discussions.

“We’re not going to shy away from the robust and difficult discussions because we know our readers and listeners want to know the story behind the story,” he said.

The podcast will be released every Wednesday in Sky News Viewpoint, a new collection of the most engaging commentary and thought-provoking editorials from Sky News Australia’s leading anchors and contributors.
