Young boy fighting for life after crash in ditch on Brisbane Valley Highway at Wivenhoe Hill
A young child is fighting for life after a serious crash west of Brisbane overnight.

A child remains in a critical condition after a car swerved off the road and into a ditch west of Brisbane on Saturday night.
The child was flown to the Queensland Children’s Hospital with critical head injuries and remains in a critical but stable condition.
Emergency services were called to Wivenhoe Hill on the Brisbane Valley Highway at about 11pm where a vehicle reportedly crashed into a ditch.
Two patients, one man in his 30s and an 8-year-old boy were flown to hospital following the crash.
The man was taken to Princess Alexandra Hospital with non-life threatening leg injuries
Queensland Fire and Emergency Services said no one was trapped.
Queensland Police and the forensic crash unit are investigating the circumstances into the crash.
