The woman, aged in her 50s, was at the iFly Indoor Skydiving facility at Chermside last Thursday when the head injury occurred.
Paramedics, including the critical care and high acuity team, were called to the skydive hub at 4.21pm and rushed the woman to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital in a critical condition.

A Queensland WorkSafe spokeswoman confirmed workplace health and safety was looking into the incident.
“Workplace health and safety visited the site and are continuing their inquiries into the incident,” she said.
Prospective customer Travis O’Connor arrived at the iFly Indoor Skydiving facility shortly after the incident.
“I was meant to fly that day, around 4:30 we got to iFly Chermside and on arrival we saw three ambulances out the front,” he said.
“My partner and I looked at each other and said ‘this is not good at all’.
“We went to walk in and the door was locked, one of the staff came out and let us know what had happened stating there had been an emergency.”
Mr O’Connor said while they were waiting around to find out more about their flight he saw another ambulance arrive.
iFly was Brisbane’s first indoor skydiving facility, opening for business in 2019.
