A 22-year-old woman is fighting for life after she was hit by a car while crossing Adelaide St in the Brisbane CBD around 9pm yesterday. Police are investigating.

A young woman is fighting for life after she was hit by a car in Brisbane’s CBD last night, while police work to investigate the circumstances.
The 22-year-old woman was crossing Adelaide Street, walking from King George Square, when police say she was struck by a car around 9pm.
The woman was rushed to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital in a critical condition with injuries to her head and leg.
The driver of the car, a 31-year-old Kelvin Grove man, was not physically injured in the horror incident.
He is assisting police with inquiries, while investigations by the Forensic Crash Unit continue.
