Woman becomes second victim of horror multi-vehicle highway crash at Stony Creek

A woman has died days after suffering fatal injuries in a multi-vehicle crash northwest of Brisbane that sent four people to hospital. She is the second person to lose their life after the tragic incident.

A woman has tragically died five days after suffering fatal injuries in a multi-vehicle crash at Stony Creek.

Shortly after 10am on Friday, a Mitsubishi Triton collided with a Toyota Landcruiser as they were travelling in opposite directions on the D’Aguilar Highway.

The driver of the Landcruiser, a 51-year-old Glamorgan Vale man, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The passengers of the Landcruiser, a 49-year-old woman, and a teenage boy, were transported to hospital for treatment of their injuries.

The driver and passenger of the Triton, a 52-year-old woman and a 58-year-old man, were also transported to hospital from the scene.

The 52-year-old woman, from the Kidman Creek area, died in hospital yesterday as a result of her injuries.

Investigations are continuing.
