A woman is in hospital with life-threatening injuries following a shocking crash into a traffic light north of Brisbane on Saturday night.

A woman has been hospitalised with life-threatening injuries following a serious crash north of Brisbane last night.
It’s understood the 30-year-old woman who was driving the car was heading toward Redcliffe when her car left the road and crashed into a light pole.
Emergency services were called to the intersection of Hornibrook Esplanade and Elisabeth Ave just before midnight on Saturday to the incident.
She was removed from the car by emergency services and transported to the Royal Brisbane and Womens Hospital for life-threatening injuries including significant leg injuries.
The passenger, a 27-year-old Kallangur woman, was also transported to hospital in a stable condition with minor injuries.
Police investigations are ongoing.
