A woman suffered a head injury following a boating incident overnight at Cape Gloucester, just north of Airlie Beach.
It is understood she hit her head after the boat she was on hit a sandbar while out on the water about 10.10pm.
Cape Gloucester is a beachside community just under 40 minutes away from Airlie Beach.
Paramedics were called and the woman was taken to Proserpine Hospital in a stable condition with a head injury.
