An alleged North Queensland drug dealer and trafficker has been hit with more than 80 charges.
Leah Chantelle Benson appeared in Bowen Magistrates Court this week charged with 80 counts of supplying drugs and three of supplying drugs to minors, and as well as drug trafficking, fraud, possession of a knife in a public place, possessing items used in the commission of a crime, and failing to appear.
Solicitor Cleo Rewald from Richards Rewald Lawyers appeared as a friend of the court on behalf of the 24-year-old and asked for an adjournment.
The chase was adjourned to June 17 to allow Ms Benson time to contact her lawyers at Kalo Criminal Law who were recently appointed by Legal Aid.
No pleas have been entered.
