As the year comes to an end, a new generation of gorgeous babies have graced the Whitsundays and Bowen region, and now readers have named their choice for the cutest of 2023.
Receiving almost half of the votes, this year’s winner was a crowd favourite.
While there can only be one winner, truly all the newborns of 2023 are cuties, with infectious laughter, cheeky grins and big beautiful eyes which can melt the heart of anyone who catches their smile.

#1 Grace McLeod Pitt
With 42 per cent of the votes, Grace McLeod Pitt dominated the poll and claimed the title of Whitsundays and Bowen’s cutest baby for 2023.
Grace’s mum, Shannon Elwin was so happy to hear the news that her daughter had been named the region’s cutest bub.
“Grace is a happy, chilled, beautiful three month old baby girl, who is loved by everyone,” Shannon said.
“ She is full of personality and is the happiest baby ever.”
#2 Kayleigh Ayles
Coming in runner up behind Grace, Kayleigh Ayles only missed the title by 8 votes with 21 per cent of the total.
#3 Marley Ashley
In third place was Marley Ashley with 13 per cent of votes.
Marley’s mum, Georgie Bedford — who nominated him — describes her son as having the most beautiful personality.
“I may be biased but I think he really is the cutest baby in the Whitsundays,” she said.
#4 Micah Gallagher
Micah Gallagher came in fourth with 10 per cent of votes.
#5 Theodore Bauer
Taking fifth place, Theodore Bauer received five per cent of votes.
