Airlines have cancelled all flights in and out of Whitsunday Coast Airport amid wild weather in the region.
Despite the airport remaining fully operational they say all airlines have decided not to fly in and out this Thursday.
Airlines should be contacted directly for updates on scheduled flights.
The Whitsunday Times understands Virgin Australia operates one daily return service from Brisbane to Proserpine, with today’s service cancelled due to local flooding near the homes of ground crew.
Qantas has been contacted for comment.
