Takeaway restaurant O Chicken in Westfield Garden City has come under fire after footage was captured of a person styling hair in the food preparation area of the establishment.

In a video uploaded to TikTok by Naee1892 on Tuesday, a person within the restaurant’s kitchen was filmed brushing a second person’s hair with a fine toothed comb.

The footage shows the front counter of the shop before zooming in on the two people.

“Ain’t no way. This guy is literally doing his hair. What the f**k,” the person filming the video said.

It is not clear whether the two people in the footage were employees of O Chicken.

The restaurant chain specialises in Korean-style fried chicken, and has multiple stores throughout New South Wales and Queensland.

O Chicken master franchisor Andy Zuo told The Courier-Mail he was shocked by the video.

“This behaviour is definitely not allowed in O Chicken. It damages our brand reputation,” he said.

He continued to say a regional agent was appointed in 2023 to spearhead the operation, marketing and expansion of the Queensland stores.

“I will talk to him (the regional agent) and possibly withdraw his Queensland agency,” Mr Zuo said.

O Chicken Garden City has been contacted for comment.
