Bureau of Meteorology release Easter long weekend outlook
Holiday makers heading to the coast for the Easter long weekend might not get the perfect weather they were hoping for.

Easter holiday goers in South East Queensland have been warned to expect partly cloudy over the annual long weekend.
The Bureau of Meteorology’s Brooke Pagel said Brisbane will be affected by the aforementioned conditions, with potential light showers headed for the Sunshine Coast.
“Winds will be a bit gusty moving south to south-easterly at around 20 to 30km/h but they will ease in the evenings,” Ms Pagel said.
“Temperatures will be around the low to mid 20s which will make for quite pleasant conditions.”
The Bureau of Meteorology website is forecasting a slight chance of rain for Brisbane across the weekend, with a maximum temperature of 27C for Friday and 26C for Saturday and Sunday.
The Gold Coast can expect possible showers this weekend, with tops of 25C, while BOM is predicting a shower or two and a top temperature of 25C today, Saturday and Sunday for the Sunshine Coast.
