The first weekend of Warwick’s Jumpers and Jazz in July festival is shaping up to be a big one, with a bumper line-up of events locked in across the region.
Whether you’re looking for some smooth jazz tunes while you peruse a market or gallery, or you’d prefer more of a showstopper such as the Killarney Bonfire Night, there’s something for everyone this weekend.

RISE AND SHINE
Start the day off with a hearty country breakfast and crafts galore at the Freestone Country Yarning and Brekky event.
Check out the community hall’s ever-growing “Farmer’s Favourite” yarnbombing, and grab a cuppa while you peruse the craft stalls.

WORLD RECORD ATTEMPT
If you’d rather get your heart rate up on Saturday, this world record attempt could be just the way to break a sweat and stay on theme.
Head down to Leslie Park and take part in Warwick’s attempt to beat the world record for the biggest Jazzercise class.

PARK SPECTACULAR
Bring the family to a park fun day with live music and interactive activities for the whole family, including an obstacle course and games.

CELEBRATING FIRST RESPONDERS
Head to Warwick Emergency Services Day where you will get see the great work first responders do and check out their live demos.

COUNTRY ARTS EXHIBITION
Head to the historic CWA building in Mt Colliery for a huge display of eclectic art, crafts, and homemade treats, featuring everything from woodworking to jams and preserves.
Handmade refreshments will also be available.

JAZZ MEETS HISTORY
Allora Historical Society has a jazz-era clothing display on show. You will also find some delicious country cooking and arts and crafts for sale.

RETRO ART
The Warwick Art Gallery team is sticking with their retro theme for this year’s artisans market, with stallholders offering a variety of wares with a vintage twist.

POP-UP ART GALLERY
A pop-up art gallery in St Mark’s Parish Hall is set to turn the heritage building into a bustling market.
Check out the original artworks and handicraft from both experienced and emerging artists, and enjoy a morning tea or lunch break at the on-site cafe.

ALL ABOARD
Residents and visitors alike can take a tour of the area this weekend with Southern Downs Steam Railway offering various journeys across the region.
Guests can choose a trip out to Hendon in the morning, or journey to Wheatvale in the afternoon.

YARNBOMBING TALKS
The Yarntopians have been busily working for months to perfect their retro installation at the Warwick Art Gallery for this year’s festival, and now is their chance to share it with visitors.
The group will reveal the process and hard work behind creating the yarn-covered front room and the stories behind the idea.

DOWNTOWN SATURDAY JAZZ
Wander around the city and take in the sites and great music at this all-day event.

WALKING TOUR
Join Warwick Art Gallery director Karina Devine for a guided tour of the festival’s famous tree jumper exhibition.

The famous Killarney Bonfire Night is back and bigger than ever this year, with the beloved fire drumming exhibition, giant bonfire, fireworks, and art sculptures.
