HEALTH, Happiness and friends seemed to be the theme of the day at the Women of Warwick's latest breakfast, a spoonful of WOW.

It was held yesterday at Rupert's Bar and grill, where guest speakers Felicity Philip and Dr Louise Clarke spoke to a packed audience.

The sold-out event was the fourth in the string of successful WOW sessions.

Tickets for this latest event had sold out completely in less than 12 hours.

Allora author Felicity Philip gave those who were present the opportunity to flick through the pages of her cook book, Friendship food - Delicious Feelgood Food.

It is a publication developed with business partners Kate Owen and Julie Reardon.

"We hope people enjoy this cookbook and feel empowered to eat well and thrive," Felicity said.

The book was the first produced by the trio and is due to be released in America later this year.

Dr Louise Clarke spoke to the group about aging gracefully, through the use of the seven deadly sins.

The local doctor left the crowd in fits of laughter at stages.

WOW will also premiere its WOW Connect group, the beginning of a bi-monthly social opportunity for young women, this Friday.

For any information on the WOW Connect premiere or any upcoming WOW events search for Women of Warwick on Facebook.
